Pays for A's

Quarterly, all of our member's children from kindergarten through 12th grade can send in a copy of their report cards by mail, fax, or email. For each A, the student is given one chance in a drawing for a $50 savings bond. There are three age levels: Kindergarten through 4th grade, 5th- 8th, and 9th through 12th. One person from each age level receives a $50 savings bond per quarter. See the calendar on this website for deadlines.

Western Iowa Telephone Scholarships

Seniors in high school who are children of our members may apply to their high school guidance counselor to be considered for one of our scholarships. We give 2 $500 scholarships each year at each of the following schols: Lawton-Bronson, Woodbury-Central, Westwood, West Monona, and Maple Valley. Schools and Libraries Receive free DSL and/or T1's

Western Iowa Telephone provides each of its two member libraries and 3 schools with free Internet acces,s whether it be by DSL or T1's.
